Hi! Only just realised my 180/2.8 MMG cannot focus properly at infinity mark. For infinity to be OK the mark is between 30m and infinity, about 30% away from 30m mark. Close distance I compared with 135/2.8, 135/2 and 100/2.8 no problem (2m and 3m).

Is the lens in serious trouble? But looking at 8R prints I cannot see any significant flaws. But so far I have not use at infinity yet.

My 100-300mm also got the same problem.

But I read from the original manual.

It said "A special types of glass with somewhat higher temperature dependence have been used, a fixed infinity stop has been dispensed with. This guaranettes perfect adjustment even in extreme temperatures."

So I am not sure if this is the same case for most of the TELE or TELE-ZOOM lens for C/Y Zeiss.
