想請問各位師兄知不知道Contax Planar 50mm f1.4標準鏡第6組鏡片同埋Contax Distagon 28mm f2.8廣角鏡第4及第5組鏡片是什麼用途(功能)?
日本Kyocera的工程師今日打電話俾我同我講以上ge鏡片就算清洗後都不能夠完全清除鏡片組內ge""所以要換.

speak english? change is better than cleaning aalthough is more expensive ... go ahead while stock last.

Thank you very much your suggestions, in fact I have already ask japan side go ahead but want to know more about those lens group for.
I thnk it is acceptable cleaning price, total I sent 5 lens for cleaning but one GE lens they do not do cleaning due to no lens could be replaced if damaged.

Hi Ba Bi,
How much does Kyocera quote on the cost to replace the elements? And the cleaning costs itself, is it per lens standard price or varies according to # of elements? Thanks.

I went to Kyocera this afternoon to get back my AEG 35/1.4. Originally I wanted to replace the front lens element, rear lens element, the lens barrel and also the front filter thread. But none is available so Japan sent the lens back untouched.

Lesson learnt: have your lens serviced as soon as possible if you really want to.

For replaced the 6th group lens of 50mm F1.4 + cleaning & calibration about 1.4K+
For replaced the 4th and 5th group lens of 85mm F1.4 + cleaning & calibration about 2.2K+
If calculate with other 2 lens (1 wide + 1 Zoom) the total cost is more than 5K and I think it is acceptable.
Perhaps you may think it is too expensive however, Contax new lens (never been used) is very few.
* Just my point of view *

In last month I also took my Tele-Tessar 200mm F3.5 AEG for cleaning and they also told me Kyocera will not do cleaning this lens due to if the lens is damaged/cleaning could not recover etc. there is no lens for replaced in Kyocera or in Zeiss.
I will continue to use it until ou tof order.

I forgot to tell every C-hing that all Lens I owned (SLR camera) is more than 10 years and this is the first time I took to Universal for cleaning.
Regarding the Universal 2 engineer use eyes inspection there is no any "MO" was found in the lens but only very few dust.
Thus, please do not misunderstood the Zeiss Lens quality not good.

As far as I know, there are a no. of lens that Kyocera does not repair now due to lack of lenses elemenets ... 15/3.5, 70-210 are some of them.

If you just look for eye inspection, you could take your lens to Mr Lee who worked in Universal before ... he is now working at Camera Repair Centre.

Thank you very much your value information, if fact those of 4 lens that I sent to Kyocera through "Universal", I contacted Kyocera Japan directly because I would like to know the reason only.

I need to replace the rear element of my D35/1.4 MMJ, any one know how much is it?

I still in England and will go back HK soon, any brother can tell me where should I go?

BTW, how long will you stay in HK? It usually takes 2-3 months to get the item back.
