Hi, I was just wondering if somebody could explain to me the difference between the contax, and contarex mounts...

They are 2 completely different mounts. There is no way you can convert from one to another. The only similarity is both are mechanical mounts. Or both begin with 'Conta".

FOA, how do you define Contax ... Is it Contax the brand or Contax the system. which is different.

As its stated above. In any case, there is no relationship between these 2 ( or 3 ) system bar the fact they were all using 135 format film, and they all use Zeiss Optics ..

First of all, which "Contax" do you exactly referring to?

The Contax (Jena at pre-war; Stuttgart in 50's) ?
or
The CONTAX (1975-2005, Kyocera Japan)?
