買咗支鏡返來，先至知道原來要裝咗原裝70/86 ring 先至裝到filter，但係個ring應該好難揾到...咁仲有無其他方法?

唔用Filter係最好的放法。
支鏡唔係太貴，小心些用其實OK，而且沒有Filter其實quality 一般情況下都係好些的。

因為個Ring比人炒貴，二來，你基本都要買勁貴的86mm UV filter SILM (唔用Silm一定有黑角，都係用Contax Original Filter最好最保障)

當年我就係因為用了B+W 86mm UV，結果多了一個UV Filter，賣出去又唔多值錢，所以最後用在支100mm 67mm 的鏡用86mm 的Filter..........笑死！



留意Filter的Thickness.

Actually its quite feasible to just get a generic 67-86 step up ring and use ( not so thick ) filters. Come light if you are really critical about the vignetting. Get a 67-95 step up ring and simply use 95mm filter. Price of the filter is though ...

I am confused. giantpanda001 said that it has to use Contax 70/86mm step up. But FR & G2Lover mentioned about 67/86mm. Good learning, something to watch out when buying this lens... whether one comes with the step up ring or not.

The 18 distagon had a 67mm threaded filter thread, the 70.86 ring is not a threaded ring, it use friction lock to tighten the ring to the outer rim of the lens ...

The 70/86 original Contax adaptor maybe specially design for this lens. (The 70/86mm adaptor mount outside of the lens by fiction as FR 大大said)

The 18mm got its front element 凸出 so it cannot fit any filter at all with its original 67mm ring. Besides there is no thrend inside its 67mm ring............so if you really keen on getting a filter for merely protection, you need to spend more than a $1000 is for sure.

Actually some 18 Distagon do had thread. I've seen both kind and there is no difference other than the thread so this must be some production change during the long time this lens been around ..

Oh, this is something new. Let me go home and check my Rollei 18mm and Contax 18mm. Do not remember they have thread though. But most likely both do not have as Rollei is one generation before Contax, and my Contax one is the early AEG type.

This is also new to me. I have never seen one with thread yet. I understand that Contax official catalogue would recommend the 70/86mm ring + 86mm filter + K84 metal lens cover set for 18/4. However I also know there are many innovative but non-official combinations. Apart from this 18/4, I find no other use of 70/86mm ring.

勁！FR大大又"失"錢入我袋！

I just saw the 18mm for the first time 2 weeks ago. Amaze to realize how "short" it is as compare to the 21mm. I saw the step up ring and it's the one with thread that screws onto the lens filter thread. If not mistaken it is a MIJ version.

唔講真係唔知有d 18/4原來可以用screw-in type 0既 step ring:P
我0個支18都係冇thread......但係我買0個時(二手)就好彩跟埋個70/86 step ring
終於我上個月0係天x 搵到塊Contax 86mm filter, 加埋條 TLA extension cord都係 1050, 我覺得可以接受
不過而家有個問題, 就係我買支鏡時個step ring只係跟個雞蓋, 如果用左塊 contax 86mm filter, 因為係slim 0既關係, 內圈冇thread, 所以係用唔返個蓋0既

而家都頭痕緊, 各位大大知唔知仲有邊度可以買到個K84 lens cover??

另外仲諗住買埋個67/86 step ring + metal hood 俾支100/2

相機維修中心有仿制的，賣3舊水，我都買咗個。

Well, I have never tried but maybe the 70/86 ring can be used as hood for some lenses with 67mm filter thread. I have used a Tokina slip on hood on Prakticar 20/2.8 before.
