I am a new user of Contax and have a G2 and 45 for a couple of days.

G2 is really a fantastic camera. I love the feeling of using it!!

By the way, I would like to ask all brothers few questions:

1. What should I pay attention when using G2?

2. How can I join Hong Kong Contax Club and also outings?

PS: Haven't finished my first roll, still don't know the outcome

1. The major concern for the G2 is the AF system. When you taking the close up photo, please be advise that the focus area is not the [ ] but actually the "o" area inside the "sweet point", the G2 can focus very accurately.

2. For 2nd, in principle, all our activity can unless specified. However, of course, the member have the first priority then the non-member. For the detail of joining our club, I will let our greatest chairman respond to you.

Actually, the G2 focusing system are not respond to the [ ] as shown the range finder.

So, you may test this carefully with you camera. You can find a close distance subject, try to focus your camera by just locate your object at the boundary of the [ ] and check the distance indicator, you will discover the G2 will not respond as expected. When you move closer to the center of the [ ], the G2 focus will respond as expected. You will then discovered the G2 focusing system will respond to the "o" area insider the frame like [ o ] .
