May I ask which C/Y lens can be used on Canon 5D?

I heard some tried C/Y 28/f2 and the mirror hit the back of the lens. Some said 50/f1.4 can but some said no. And I wonder whether 35/f1.4 is save on 5D?

我支 Rollei QBM mount 35/1.4 冇事, 但係50/1.4 就打屁股. C/Y 鏡我未試過放落 5D, 不過佢地設計係一樣, 可以俾你做個參考.

hahhahhaha, depend on which lens la..... I believe some lenses are too precious to be cut la.

It should it the mirror of body instead of the lens.

我用大陸接環 35mm1.4 50mm1.4 60mm2.8 都 ok....

It really depends on the quality of the adaptor. I found that the thickness varied a lot even for the same brand, especially for those with AF confirmation chip.

From others' experience, D28/2 & D35/1.4 are at high risk.

i have 25/2.8, 35/1.4, 50/1.7, 85/1.4, 180/2.8 using on my 5D
all will not hit by the mirror.
but for 180/2.8, the pin at the back of the lens will hurt the the internal part of 5D

In fact it really depends on the adaptor. The ching selling me 35/1.4 told me that he has no problem to use 35/1.4 in 5D but 1 of his 35/1.4 was hurt by a 400D. he also told me that the thickness of the adaptor may different 1 to other for 1mm.

i just bought a 28/2 from ebay. hope it will not be hurt

The most serious problem is not the thickness.
I have seen some MIC adapter which the CY lens centre is mis-align with the EF mount centre..........
What you will get is a in-born "fixed-PC" adapter
