My family has both lenses and I plan to sell off one of the lenses. MMG is West Germany with serial no 66xxxx. Any comment & advise would be really appreciated as I have not managed to take photos with the MMG and compare the results.

What is the reasonable street price for >95% to 99% exterior and 100% clean interior for both MMG vs MMJ?

100% Sure MMG

Correction, it's actually an AEG instead of MMG. Just noticed that the F22 is painted in white. Hmmm now I am interested to check it out tomorrow...

always keep MMJ
I dont think there is any different between Germany made or Japan made
and old lens is easy to turn yellow tone
also, the later version has better coating technique

I don't think so, I always keep Germany made version. As I read many of the old posts, I think the majority of the members in this forum like Germany made version more.

those people want to keep Germany version becoz it is rare, especially the MMG
for a Contax lover, I love MMG too, but there is no performance issue between G and J
I read many article in internet from those users own both Germany and Japan lens
most of them said there is nearly no different
and for color and flare control, Japan made lens is better

Qoo牛 brother, just share some of my experience
1. 180 MMG vs MMJ - MMG deliver much higher image resolution especially enlarge it over 15R. The MMJ deliver much more soft tone and give a "paint" feel.

2. 100/2 MMG vs MMJ - The MMJ deliver much sharper and more 3D image and MMG seem a bit disappoint me..

3. 85/1.4 MMG vs MMJ - MMG version delivery more vivid color then MMJ.

4. 35/1.4 MMG vs MMJ - the different is really not much at all...

not slide..but neg film...same roll of film, same printing setting same camera setting.

因為好多時二手鏡 D 人令去整過抺過
如果唔係返原廠整, 唔多唔多都會影響到 performance
我試過幫 d frd 交收時睇過 d 二手鏡, 好多鏡頭都拆過
