For F110, there are two versions with the earlier type having silver and yellow distance markings on the focusing barrel, while the later version which co-exist with F110 TCC (with contacts to work with 205TCC) would have white and orange distance markings.
With the discontinuation of the F110, F110 TCC had been re-named as FE110 together with the release of 203FE, 205FCC and 202FA bodies.
Starting from Summer of 1999, Carl Zeiss had improved the design of the FE110/2 with better performance at wide open. Please refer to the details from the CLN Vol.7 of Carl Zeiss:

I suppose it would be safe to identified the improved lens with serial no. starting with 88xxxxx and onwards.
