Just "know" this from Dr. Kornelius J. Fleischer:
All lenses you see in the Zeiss range for Hasselblad today were redesigned with new glass types recently. No exception!

should be not as good as before in principle....just take 905SWC as example..... :(

but you got no choice...enviromental protection is a MUST today

I think its good, the usage of new glass forced them to recalculate and re-optimize the lens. Besides, how many of us can utilize the true limit of these lens, we stay well within their performance bracket. In fact when I look at the Slide of the 6X6 I trialed, I see the CFi / CFe all doing better than the older lens.

So be a bit more responsible to the environment ... that's a good thing to do

IMHO they should long have re-do the Biogon. Just like Schneider having to re-do the Super Angulon and now with the XR

I have different point of view regarding the performance. At least from the MTF of 905SWC vs 903SWC, it tell me a different story. By the way, I will try to run a test to compare this & will let you guys know the result later on!
