A new comer wanna seek for your advice on the following regarding the CFI and CFE 180mm f4

1. IS CFI a current model lens which is selling at the sametime with CFE version? And if not, does it EOL for long time ago already?

2. May you suggest how much for a new CFI 180 and CFE 180 now?

I found this strange, especially on the back of the lens (especially the niddle seems like blended)

I believe the CFi version introduced into the market in 1997 but I am not 100% sure. However, the CFE version introduced into the market along with Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 4/120 and Zeiss Superachromat 5,6/250 CFE.
Indeed, according to Zeiss Camera Lens News No. 16
February 2002
"The optical formulae of the new members of the CFE range are the proven ones of the respective former CFi versions"
So, no quality performance need to be consider in terms of quality between CFi and CFE

Ops. one thing i missed, the CFE 180mm f/4 introduced into the market in 2002
