I got both.........I would say 110/2 is a charming lens.......

but not a winner to 100/3.5 in ALL aspects...........technically Planar 100/3.5 performs better especially on distortion and field flatness

And I suppose both of them should not be missed

bear in mind there were a newer version of FE110/2 claimed to be designed for improved wide open performance

this can be distinguished from the earlier version if you look at the rear part of the lens (the new one contains a square baffle right after the last element)

i think experts here own both versions and can point out the difference to you easily

請問FE110 Planar 的二手價大概要多小？ 我也在想上120，打算在Rolleiflex 2.8FX(全新) 和 FE110 Planar+203FE(二。。。三手) 二算一。

只想一機一鏡的話，我選 2.8

2.8 機動性遠高於 203FE Starter Kit..

203FE .. 不過 ... 可以給你繼續追的藉口。

Personally, I prefer 203FE+110f2. For sure, from image quality point of view, TLR should be better. However, there is a lot of restriction for TLR like you are not able to take close up photo easily etc. Also, you are not able to change the lens. Unless you really didn't intended to develop ANY of your medium format system. Therefore, 2.8FX is your best SECOND medium format camera only.

If you don't trust, you can ask WHO bought his TLR first & then buy hasselblad later on?

I am exactly using 203FE + 110FE. You need nothing more but a 150FE!!

The above just my personal opinon:
1. 50f2.8 is better then 50FLE from optical performance. However is too heavy.
2. 80f2.8 seem have no major optical performance different then CF/CFE one. Just better closer focusing distance
3. 110f2. Great performer! Must buy item if you intended to develop the 200/2000 system
4. 150f2.8. I like the tone of this lens! Sometime I think S180 is too sharp and S150 is too soft. This 150f2.8 is the kind of lens with with very high resolution but not "hard"..
5. 250f4. Not bad. Contrast seem a little higher then my C250f5.6T* but no major different from resolution point of view
