To me the HD dv part is kind of 多舊魚

I had chances to follow few movie making projects while they were using betacam. My observation was

1. They manual focused the lens. They tried the focus in advance and put marks on the focusing ring of the lens. When they did the real shooting, they turned the focusing ring to the pre-marked distance.
2. They made the movie piece by piece and changed angles from time to time. The piece was short and I believed it was to avoid to many NG. So 14 mins is long enough la.

finally, someone have experience for film shooting. with DOF video cam is so expensive. 5D is good bargain!!! film shooting is different to making home video.
