始終都係Summilux-M 50mm F1.4 ASPH.最好

Recently I could test the SX 50mm ASPH again on the famous Zeiss K8 MTF equipment. The reason was that you never know enough of a lens and the introduction of the new Nikon 1.4/50mm (eight elements) was a trigger to see if the SX is still the champion. The new Nikon is absolutely no match for the SX, but I have to add that the Nikon is designed for a different kind of pictures and is a part of the digital workflow. Even so, the final results of the SX are much better than the Nikon can provide. In my view the SX is as of his moment unchallenged.
To underscore this claim a test was made for the maximum useable resolution. For the record, the SX wide open (!) had a resolution of 160 linepairs/mm with 10-15% contrast and stopped down to moderate f/4 the contrast increased to 30%. The behavior of the lens in the defocus area is rather intriguing and a full report is under way.
When using BW film this performance is .attainable. A green filter will improve the results. Now the bad point. I ordered a green filter (061) from B&W or Hoya, but both companies had stopped producing this type. It seems that classical black-and-white-filters are no longer produced. Another writing on the wall.
