Unlikely........

If it was the problem of WB, it would be a simple fix in Lightroom........

The problem is the white area is wrongly identify as pink when over-exposed........

不過都係睇埋佢個爛鬼閃燈發生乜事，同埋戶外高反差同低光下的表現先啦。到我儲得錢黎，佢都應該跌到五千蚊有找

ISO 800 都可以咁.....絶對OK 喎!
但SAVE 相, 對焦同部機操作時反應快唔快呢?

不過咁貴, 可以買部DC LU.......

Brother Wah, colour of DNG format appears more vivid than JPG format. But does the DNG photos resemble the real imagine (colour & WB) that you saw on the scene?

The AWB appears a bit "cold" and less saturation for direct JPG (to my personal taste)

For the DNG file, I had changed the WB and exposure for JPG export (but not added any saturation)

well I guess we will had to wait for the DNG profile for the camera, but it reconfirm my belief that the Sony 12MP sensor is actually quite capable. Which I am seeing in both Sony's A700 and Nikon D300 ( though of slight different build ) but the SONY imager business unti web site downloads ( tech sheets ) shown that all of them ( includiing X1's ) really had little difference being wafered on same technology and of same family / generation of sensors.

Now it would be interesting to see if Sony would employ that Exmor-R or something to the next generation of sensors.

Well a T3 in digital form, well the Olympus E-P1 with that 17mm would probably be more suited to the need. Unless one shoot RAW and can exploit the digital darkrooming or one always shoot ISO 1600 or above. Else the APS-C sized sensor ( even FF ) of today is not going to be per sensor data quality superior to 4/3. Even my E420 had decent ISO 800 JPEG ( and my 4/3 DSLR is 1.5 generation older )

That said I just extensively test the E-P1 this last sunday and I must say it can do pretty good ( image quality wise ) but there's some catch on the control / ergonomics.

Oh one more thing I've noticed, Leica keep boosting about no AA filter in large sensor since only that can deliver the needed Crispness Leica should be and come around, the X1 had an AA filter and it seems in fact a relatively strong one also. Made one really had a good laugh on the matter

部機昨日試過，對焦時“滴滴”聲，同有點猶疑，
影完第一張要等兩秒，先可以影第二張，
有點失望

等我仲一路擔心唔買 X1 買 GF1 會唔會係錯誤選擇，聽你咁講即刻鬆啖氣。

不過話時話，聽你形容，我覺得情況甚似 DP1 .... 希望 X1 電子方面同 Sigma 完全冇關係啦.....
