Actually I saw some photos posted by Pentax 645D on the HKLFC ... pretty mpressive in fact. The commentary from users are very good too, especially the high ISO performance. Some said the 645D is even better than digital back and comparing the price, Pentax 645D stands out.

In my mind, biggest problem with ND is the whole N series failed to attract the CY lovers to start this completely new line, while it also failed to attract new digital users. So old fans did not go for it, whereas potential new fans compared ND to Nikon and Canon, and of coz ND failed badly especially at high ISO and extraordinary price plus other minor problem like short life battery.

Pentax 645D can use all old Pentax 645 lenses. Also its price is much better than Leica S2, DB etc. and so my conclusion is Pentax 645 will definitely survive as it has all the qualities as a great workhorse in studio.
