唔係好明,點解Pentax K-5個Sensor係Make by SONY
但係 SONY 的DSLR的 Senor 唔及Pentax?
Not a surprise, while those sensor, ( D7000, K5, A55 ) are out of the same basic one. End user of the sensor ( the Mfr or for Sony the Alpha division ) can specify different type of On chip structure like AA / Hot mirror, and signal Amp etc ... and after that all of them would be using different type of A/D of their own and different firmware / software to get to the final digital format ( even RAW ).
Know that RAW is only the part that we the photographer got, but for the sensor to be compared with the sensor only you need to look at the Sensor Data sheet, say something about saturation point, fill factor, filter factor, but those is not the image data , those are the sensor performance.
When we read RAW data, we are reading not the sensor's output ( its not film ) we are reading thew total platform of the camera. Even more so with JPEG.
I always think such kind of question arouse from the notion people believing the media is the only part that image ( that is with film somewhat, but not always ). Get to understand how a digital Platform work instead I say .....................
