想請教大大們有關呢部機：

個Professional口既SHIFT係咪真係咁有用？值唔值個差價？

應用邊一或邊幾支鏡？

如果用多過一支鏡，應買多一個VIEWFINDER定用DIFFERENT貼？

用起6X&片盒比一般如哈仔或邦妮卡比較，會否好唔方便？

另作為投資一部價值不菲口既中幅機，各位大大點睇佢無長焦呢個事實呢？

我好想聽聽大家口既用家心得。

香港有無代理，邊度買會平？

Not more than 30K.

What I like is, it can use both panorama and 6x7 back (An extra back is less than 3,000, very cheap when compared with say Hasselblad). Allso, it uses Rodenstock lens.

What I do not like is, it does not have any tele focal lens.

Think I will buy one somehow, just want to find out more from current users before commiting.

IMHO the key question is

- Budget - Total cost in concern
- Usage - Handheld essential or ?

A new Toyo 45CF is only roughly 7K HK$ now and its quite easy to get 6X7/6X9/6X12 on 45 film back , and of course any lens that fit into the lensboard can be used. And the 4X5 would have more technical movement.

For my part, unless there is a critical, unfaultered, & esential need to use these camera handheld or the need for absolute minimal package size. There is little that cannot be done via a proper 4X5 field camera with suitable back. Not to mention the 4X5 will of course allow the use of 4X5 film. I have use field camera and I do not find any of the 612 or 617 any better except in size ( the weight is actully not that much different ).

我意見係如果玩HORSEMAN 612, 千萬唔好慳, 加多少少錢上SW612P, 因為pro版可以shift~ 我覺得o係香港影landscape, lens shift好好用, 因高樓大廈多, 有shift就可修正變形.

但要注意如用612back, 35mm, 45mm係shift唔到的, 55mm, 65mm, & 90mm先可shift.

如果用多過一支鏡，有錢想方便最好買多一個VIEWFINDER啦, 如果唔係咪換mask或自製一個多刻度嘅mask o羅~

換片盒無話唔方便, 有豆腐刀可隨時更換片夾. 如要同哈仔500系比, 當然哈仔方便d, 但同swc比的話, 操作就差唔多, 同樣要估焦, 睇view finder取景, 無build-in測光. 其實我係哈仔fans, 但要我二選一(swc or 612p), 我會選612P, 因為底大, 多size(6x7, 6x9, 6x12), 可shift, 可換鏡, 可多重曝光, 價較平.

其實最tele有支180mm, horseman web site無list出來, 但我見過天祥有貨.

家下好似無代理, check下天祥同新三共啦~ sw612 around 22k, sw612p 26k?

我用緊55mm, 有輕微黑角, 可配center filter, 但要加2.5級~ 好似$1.8k, 唔記得左~

呢部機主力食landscape, 如要多用途, snap or 影人都係哈仔500系好D~

Regarding focusing, I think it is down to experience with handling a particular camera ? Practice makes perfect ?

Your 55mm lens should have an angle of view of 18mm and about 90 degrees in width ? Do you think it is kind of too wide for general landscape ?

I am thinking of getting a 65mm lens which I think has an angel of view of 21mm and 80 degrees in width. This, on 6x7 should be around 34mm ?

Think a 180mm lens is an attractive second lens to have. Better ask Tin Cheung about it.
