我每次菲林連沖晒加張１８Ｒ大相都係＄５０，唔知幾時先洗夠一部ＤＳＬＲ既價錢，真係羨慕而家Ｄ窮人。

呢個會自古以來，「窮」的意思不嬲都係講緊寧可不吃飯，都不可不用人工o既 101% 來買野。「窮」係指冇錢開飯的窮，而並非冇水。

If you have a budget of 10K ( or 15K ) and aim for a 350D or 1D Mk.II , let me be serious with you. Forget about getting a C/Y or M42 Wide angle lens. You will be better off getting some up to date backend - support for the DSLR.

A proper platform for Digital darkrooming ( computer and software ) will be far more important to the system than forging for a lens. And speaking of lens. I can safely assure you that none of the C/Y or M42 wide angle can better the more up to date Wide angles designed specifically for the need of a DSLR.

The fact people complain about color or something alike is more a problem with theit digital darkrooming than anything. And as regard noise and detail render/resolution/noise. Even a good lens cannot help. Its mostly a problem of the Sensor and the firmware. The Cmos used by Canon is inherently having more noise than better CCD, and canon choose to have aggressive noise reduction on firmware level ( so it won;t help even if you use RAW ) and coupled that with the AA filter grid & small photosite. you have the issue people report about sharpness, color and saturation. Those had nothing to do with lens and you cannot improve the image by using a better lens. Its not film. DSLR, once made, is stuck with a set type of sensor hardware, and that cannot be changed.

If you intend to get a DSLR with good image quality and wanting to use better manual focus lens. the Olympus is far better than the 350D, and the Wide angle ( 11-22 or 7-14 ) ZD Lens are all first grade.

Agreed. Olympus DSLR and Zukio digital lenses are of very good quality (though not cheap as regards those wide lenses).

What about D21 on full-frame?

The D21 , while performing very well on film, when used on FF sensor wil still show quite vidible Fringing effect and Color artifacts. This is not an indication of its inferior optical performance, just the fact that the lens was designed for a set medium and part of its performance is not quite well suited to be used on digital.

Of course, one can always improve that by always using it on stop down ( at least 8.0 ) but being a 21mm, the lost of resolution at smaller aperture will show again. And to get back the lost DOF when using a FF against Film, one will need to use aperture at 1.5 to 2 stop less. This of course further lead to worse optical performance ( 21mm is too short a focal length and distagon is not exactly the best optical formula for wide angle )

More modern lens , even zoom from some Mfr had taken the the consideration into concern and made it so that the lens will maintain a viable degree of performance when used in such manner, but not the C/Y lens. They are all pretty old enough excpe for a few specific ones.

agreed. there is nothing else can express the power of CY lens except films... it's sure that you will "tune" your foto after shooting with DSLR no matter what lens u are going to use, so y CY? CY lenses were developed with consideration of using films, they never better than the dedicated digitial lenses. Indeed, when u choosing DSLR, u do choose in the meanwhile to give up the management of color, resolution, distortion, contrast and etc by lenses, so never think CY lenses will give you incredible foto in digital imaging, coz it's all about SW & HW.

radoncy, I think you should:
1. Concentrate on Canon System with DSLR only.
or
2. By CY body + CY lens. Get a good scanner or scan the film to CD when process the film

睇番你的情況你要wide 或 ultra wide 用落 digital, 係得FF.....
其餘的X1.6(如揀canon) 乜都鏡都唔變wide.....如果真係有心玩wide...用番film 機好.....仲有菜鏡用落dslr有點浪費.....好處只就係堅番d錢

如果係影菲林,又要用番c/y鏡,點解唔買番contax既body呢
雖則相傳contax既body都幾易壞

而且個人愚見
除非影得好密手,要求又高,本身又有好多時間駛
否則用高價film scanner既效益真係有d成疑

影得好密手<---因為部如果影得唔多不如比番舖做
要求又高<--呢個唯一係好多舖多數都比唔到你...即係一般都唔會出到好大
本身又有好多時間駛<--呢個要有心理準備, SCAN相都幾浪費時間

仲有就係要攪..cal mon, scanner 等...通常出正片好好多, 但負片好多都遍色
不過就唔知幾皮野的scanner會唔會好d

記住N1唔係CY mount的, 隨左N系之外你仲可以選好多CY系既機身, 有平有貴, 二手千零到幾千都有. contax的確已"停產", 並唔係"關門大吉", 佢仲有十年維修俾返唔同既model (如果係新model既話! 請問有無大大可以post返個schedule出黎呢?)...

玩中幅同兩皮野既scanner有咩關係???? 個人覺得8.4K一部scanner已經貴到離譜...

Film既話最平superia100/200都係講緊十數蚊一筒 - 粗用, 廿零蚊既reala就錫住用, 到會長(私人)代理既fortiaSP要幾十蚊就緊係留返黎做collection啦...
