LoL ....
To be fair, I think its quite a mistake to simply think of the GR-Digital as another " DC 機仔 " since by all account its not. Comparing Apple to Orange will not yield any meaningful results. Its IMHO too many of fellow members had too much a set mind when taking a look at products. You cannot get the TVS-3 to perform like the T3, nor can you expect to have a digital record from a GR-Digital the same as a film record from a GR-1.
What one should really look for is whether the price/performance/features set make the camera quality photgraphic tool. Trying too much to ask any of the nes camera to perform like the old ones or to perform like something else is too much asking. Why not just invest in those that was mentioned.
As a long time GR-1 owner ( until myb baby nephew trash it
), I am always all for the though that I am buying a lens, with the camera BODY added. Instead of a cemara. In digital era. its no longer the same, because your DC/DSLR is not just the body or lens , but also your media. One had to take note on this. I've send my request for comment from a few fellow Japanese buddy who are going to have the GR-Digital, and after their 1st comment I think the GR-Digital worth every bit of its price. Now I just had to find out what's the availability here in HK and get to handle one too.
Likely I will buy one. I think it made a great synergy setup with a DSLR / film setup.
