當年Nikon 造了些M39給Leica thread,自己卻沒有造body.
請不要將M39和M42鏍絲鏡當成一樣

唔關ｂｏｄｉｅｓ事，　所有戰後ｎｉｋｏｎ　機鏡係抄ｌｅｉｃａ，　故此焦距當然要跟ｌｅｉｃａ，但係個ｍｏｕｎｔ就偏偏用咗ｃｏｎｔａｘ個ｓｔａｎｄａｒｄ．其實當時ｌｅｉｃａ　同ｃｏｎｔａｘ　都係部機同鏡做咗啲手腳，等其它人無得抄．
所以到Ｍ３一出，無論對焦準確度同取影器嘅光亮度及ｄｅｓｉｇｎ之複雜，　令到好多日本廠抄都抄唔到（己當時技術水平嚟講），　所以有傅CAN*N都係咁先至加速發展ＳＬＲ機．放棄ＲＮＡＧＥ　ＦＩＮＤＥＲ　機．
以上如有錯漏，　請指正及見諒，　有時人老無記性．

Nikon當年鏡頭主要是copy Carl Zeiss,不是Leica
Contax有50 f1.5, Nikon 就出50 f1.4, Contax 有135 f4.0, Nikon 就出135 f3.5來應戰,其他如50/2.0, 85/2.0等,都是仿Contax Sonnar 鏡的設計,而Nikon 出名的105/2.5卻是從85/2.0變化出來

In fact , copying is not a very friedly word to be used in such case, as Nikon had actually licensed from Zeiss ( a deal done before the War ) already the lens design and production ( due of course to the 2 countries' political tie at that time and the need for them to share technical information for WAR purpose ). After the war, of course those become public property anyway

As for copying Leica after the war, the truth is more compelling. Remember Germany is paying war retribution by opening all their pre-war industrial copyright and patent for all country to be used in industrial/consumer use and maufacturing. In effect that means anyone can take those design and produce product for the market. So we can hardly blame Canon for the matter. After all, at that time, there's really very little proven working 35mm format cameras. We have to remember that during the whole late 40's, & early 50's the whole world is still re-building after the War and for real only the Arctics and America is relatively untouched. Producing on proven working model is the only way to go for early yeras production as Canon and many others do. Its only when their own position is more consolidated than they can do something as they have in the mid-50's. Those time are not quite like what we have now. Part of very interesting history !!
