Hi! Anyone here in this forum has tried using enlarger lens taking photos on film or slides or CCD?
If yes anything to share?
A lot of people who are playing large format (4x5, 8x10, etc)
are using an enlarger len (with bellow for sure) to take photo.
If you are using the enlarger len for 135 format .. you need to
purchase a bellow to attrach the len in the front, and have an
suitable mount for your 135 camera.
Advantage: if you are using it in 135 format, you are actually
using the central and very small part of the image circle. In
theory, you are using the "best" quality image from the len.
Disadvantage: As I said, you need a bellow, which limit you
mobility. Also, if you are using it in large format (e.g 4x5);
since the len doesn't have a shutter, then you need to "add"
a shutter.
