又回到我最開始的問題了.................

在數碼的浪潮我好明顯已放棄了沖晒相片。
用菲林機我都只會沖連做CD
又因為不喜歡後製的我，所以對CS2非常極之反感。

99年用Canon G2 ，快、平、無需要比人做

在DSLR的浪潮中，Contax死了，Contax N都死了。

要走出數碼之路，只有三

1. 用Contax N Digital - 但又要買過D 鏡，而日本仔的味道又 not my cup of tea (不考慮)

2. 用Film Scanner，但太花時間(也沒有考慮)

3. 要用上數碼的C/Y lens唯有用Mount加在Canon 或Olympus

因為當時Olympus的Mount在香港未有，所以為了方便起見都用了Canon 20D為我的C/Y System 延長生命。

但好灰，色水同Contax 在菲林中的好唔同................

現在都半放棄中................

結果又回到起點。

其實要相片出回蔡味真的要自己花上心機去做一個Digital Lab...........

一個Film Scanner係好重要的。

如果你係我你會點做？

賣晒所有C/Y，行Leica M8/Zeiss Ikon Lens，但如果唔用M8都唔會比到我滿意的色水，因為問題依然在於出面的Lab沒有可能100%迎合我。

Large 同 Medium format我不會考慮，因為太重，我好怕牛龜咁大部機，喜歡低調，而且又係有Scanning 的問題，DRUM Scan 的 scanner貴到飛起。

Very simple solution..Film + Scan CD by printing shops...

Actually, it really depends your application...

If you only need the photo softcopy for posting the photo to internet, I think 天祥 kind is acceptable. If you intended to use the softcopy for photo printing, then I will say why film....

不過佢地PHOTO CD既IMAGE SIZE,個人認真係細左D....

If I were you ..

Sorry to say, the first thing you need is not the scanner nor the effort. camera / lens. Its your mentality and unwillingness to commit and effort. As everything goes, there will never ever be Quality without such.

As I've said before, you want the best, you pay the rest, and the rest is not always a financial one.

You can either have the money and buy the scanner but it will still require effort and time to dedicate to the scanning and Post processing.

You can have DSLR and lens, but it do not negate the fact of needing to control and operate and the need for Processing either on camera and post exposure.

of course, you can continue to shoot film, and just let others do the D&P, digitization, just do not expect quality for the price the norm of HK market as it is ... A quality scan typically cost say upward of 50 per frame and that's just the price to pay

我都怕會花好多時間，因為以前我在黑房的日子就因為過份投入而錯過了在香港原校讀中六機會，每天放學都在黑房。
香港地唔係人人都有咁多時間可以放在Hobbies上，我仲要食飯又未退休，仲有好多野要做，我已經比好多人投訴花太多時間於Hobbies，人生不單止攝影。

唔通因為這樣我要張張tone十五分鐘？人生好短嫁！拍一筒得花上５４０分鐘。

但係連Film Scanner都未有又點可能知道自己的喜好，所以都係十五、十六，我怕會中毒，日日對住個電腦同Scanner？

話說回來 Leica M8都真係一部比我這些LAZY PERSON的好機。

C/Y 鏡唔係設計比Canon，所以你點Post Processing 都係浪費時間，佢的唯一出路都係FILM + Scanner。

要蔡味要等Zeiss Ikon 出Digital 牌或用Leica M8頂住先。

數碼化的C/Y真係要有代價。

其實Canon 20D 的CMOS同

我想講 Canon DSLR 同C/Y鏡係唔Match，個Tone好灰，最少350D同20D及以前的DSLR都係咁。

所以數碼最重要的唔係鏡頭，而係你要有一Team人為每支鏡分別用Software昇華佢的Quality，要Match CMOS

所以C/Y要數碼化係死路一條

又買機鏡都係解決唔倒沖印店的Scan問題，係你比錢都未必會同你做，因為太花時間了.............商業社會，沒有大錢賺的唔會有人做。

所以我想來想去唯一可以救C/Y的只有自己買Scan見己做。

我都有同樣問題, 不過我無CY鏡, 只有G2+G鏡
比你更慘我連想加canon mount 都無

有想個d200+ZF, 但未試過, 老手話色水不及cy
CY 重可以配落Pentax, 可以睇睇, 但唔好太大期望

數碼最重要的唔係鏡頭 <-- 非常認同

If photo scan (sRGB) can satisfy you, I think 20D can do the same.


Try the following to see if you can get a better result.
1. Shoot in RAW with correct white balance
2. Convert by C1 pro with a custom color profile such as ETC profile

Its your cal and yours alone to answer that ; still the matter remain. you want that, you effort and factor that in. IF you don't just accept compromise or pay for others to do it .. still the same
