When did Linux fall to the consumer grade?

I suppose it's AT LEAST something prosumer

LoL .... Linux always consumer in fact .... Its consumer and hobbyist by nature before even hitting big time as system toold. I have convert several old notebook to Linux for friend and family. Serve well enough. I might want to do my old iBook with one soon as I finish with the hardware !!

但睇佢似係一個簡化版的photoshop, 或者叫做強化版的camera raw, 主力用來改raw, 不過處理速度方面好似都係慢左d, 想請問有無人同時用過phase one 的 capture one 和 lightroom呢?? 比較的結果怎樣??

因為買了nikon 自家的 capture nx, u-point係強, 但係.............太慢了!!!

Speed is not everything. with a decent computer, each and every one of them process fast enough. What matter in such software is workflow, and workflow control, and tie in with additional image editing. By that, the Adobe ones are far more coherent a package / solution. Actually after trying almost all ofhtme I cannot see definite advantage of one over the others unless you have specific DSLR model that need a certain developer. I would say the overall workflow, image rendering character and control/batch function that work for you is probably the one to choose instead ..

FR, 我估我明白你既意思既, 我都同workflow才是最重要, 可是若你只能用部celeron1.7的電腦, 又要次次改百幾兩百張raw的時候, 可能你都會諒解我對速度上的追求. 除非你像我那樣喜歡好轉raw的處理時間來在這裏打字啦~~

比較了兩天後, 初步發現lightroom在處理速度較慢外, 就是色管方面好似無乜setting, 又唔能夠即時看到改變色域後的結果, 因佢要 save as 時才可以改色域.....

大家又有甚麼睇法??
