Well, Ontario's LCBO is really doing pretty well in getting different wine maker to present their product, Krug was one of them, but so far I never attend any of them. Because 無人同我去!!! My friends in Canada are not interested in this topic at all.

Beside, I do think that it is not worth, by reading your previous tasting notes.

But hopefully some day your favorite will CS will come to Toronto, then I can try your favorite CS Yr. 2000.

Really would like to try the good stuff at the right time.

rp俾89分, 但係我又唔覺得係咁差...

Deep Ruby+a little bit Orange, medium body
Nose: 松香 + jam
Plating: Smooth, after taste so-so...

Tasting Note from Robert Parker:
Notes of new saddle leather, dried Provencal herbs, and a hint of lavender jump from the glass of this deep ruby/purple-tinged Margaux. The complex aromatics are followed by a sweet attack, but some narrowing on the mid-palate and finish is apparent. Pure and elegant, it is ideal for near term drinking. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2015.

最近很好彩能夠一口氣飲到2000年5大o既second wine, 有:
Carruades de Lafite 2000 yr
Les Forts de Latour 2000 yr
Bahans Haut Brion 2000 yr
Pavillon Rouge du Margaux 2000 yr
Le Petit Mouton 2000 yr
同場加插
las cases second - Clos du Marquis 2000 yr 同 latour o既 third wine: pauillac de Latour 2000

Anyway, Tasting就因為太開心冇drop低, 不過要比較o既話 (by bind test):
- first round, decant for 1.5hr, my choice:
Margaux > Lafite > Latour > Mouton > Clos du Marquis > Haut Brion

- Second round, decant for 2.75hr:
Latour > Lafite >= Margaux > Clos du Marquis > Mouton > Haut Brion

Actually, 對Clos du Marquis 同 Haut Brion都有d失望. 枝Bahans Haut Brion taste 好似 1992 枝 first wine (weak yr from this chateau) 但係 first wine smooth好多.

枝Le Petit Mouton 就幾supprise我. 我賽前估佢係最差果個但係結果就係佢nosing幾正good indeep (不過 approx. 3hr, 枝野"玩完")

還有, 枝pauillac de Latour 2000都真係唔差, 比Les Forts de Latour 簡單但係個style好似...

(When I return to the store once again, when I just ask the helpdesk to open the lock for me to get it, an ANTI just over heard from me, and ask the store to give her all 13 bottles in that location. :evil::evil: So I fight a long time to get two bottles, one for you guys, and another is for my colleague's father's day present!)

But I just found that we have 10 bottles in Ontario. Vincent if you want one more to collect, let me know. (Hopefully, they will be there.)

今既試左昨天買o既Le Petit Cheval 2002 (Cheval Blanc second wine). 一開ｏ既時候個noise勁似chateau calon segur yr2001, 充滿dark chocolate (我 AB compare Godiva 72% dark chocolate, 有7成似). 等左15分鐘, d vanilla 又出d, 再等耐d, 又加d籣花香, 2個半鍾之後又多d香蕉糕味...爽~~~~

個palate就tannic好勁, breath左2個鐘叫個平順d, anyway, 枝野好有potential, 如果celler佢5-6年我估同我之前好鐘意o既94 Cos'd Etournel咁上下....

好想試枝first wine
