Do you know if there is any tasting report for the Vintage 2009 out yet?

As I would like to buy a few bottle that need to be cellar for at least 18 years, for my daughter!

Or if you have any good recommendation?

For bordeaux, it said it will be greatest vintage to supercede the 05 vintage....

If you find any, you can consider to keep some...however, I will expected the price will not cheap based on previous EP offer

Yes! I just received the price list for the 2009 vintage. They all rocket high!

Even if I pre order it right now!

So I might wait for the release and try my luck and see what I can pick from the left over!

75 Haut Brion - very complex with tobacco, herb and smoky nose of a great Haut-Brion. Medium to Full body and tannin is still existed...good lenght and very enjoyable...

75 Gazin (sorry that I didn't take any pic) - Some herb, tea, minty spicy with some dark fruit nose. A bit watery but is approachable now. The palate has a bit sweetness and good balance of acidity as well..Lovely

86 Latour - Again, some minty spicy and dark fruit, ceder wood. However, the "structure" is not as big as I tasted for 90, 98 & 99 before. Nevertheless, still a enjoyable and lovely wine...

Anyone tasted the Beaujolais Nouveau already? 2009 was great!

I Like the Haut-Brion classic loking bottle.

This year is good! But not as good as 2009!
The nose is less dense than last year! Inparticular for the fruits!
But good ripe banana and Bubby Gum!

Enjoyed the one by GD! Always the best one amongst the other.
But this year Watson's Cellar don't have it! I get it from Justco!

Will put it aside for 10 ten years and drink it with my daughter!

Checked The Salon is vintage 1997! Too Old!

Now thinking of something to drink tonight!

I will never consider any white cap Leroy..simplly waste money! Red cap is another thing!

Anyway, don't try any 2004 burgundy ar, very difficult to find good bottle...

For Pommard, go for Comte Armand Clos des Epeneaux (I would say this is the only choice)

For Bouchard, I think go for Chambertin Clos de Beze la...anyway, I have tried a bottle of 99 1Cru chambolle musigny, very good!
