I think a key statement is here...

"...In the future, further additions to the line of SLR lenses will provide demanding photographers with an even larger selection of manually focusable fixed focal lengths for their work..."

We can expect to see more lenses coming out. :D

And quite clearly Zeiss had sane business mindset, keep the lens manual focus, keep them fix focals ( since other Mfr are not really building nice fix focals of this nature anyway, well Pentax interesting is doing that but on a limited fashion )

Considering that many of the ZF/ZK/ZS can trace their original design to Cine lens from Zeiss, it might be worth checking some of those offering (which might hint for future lens and what they might be )

If having f=1.2 lens,
