There's no built in Viewfinder Rangefinder and focus mechanism on SW, designed to use with wide lenses with add on viewfinder.

One interesting feature is there are 2 hot shoes provided, one at the centre (mainly for the view finder) and one at the side. I find this interesting because it solves the problem of using flash with super wide angle lenses with non-hammer head type of flash. I cannot see clearly so not sure whether both hot shoes can fire off the flash or not.

The Zeiss Ikon Super wide had 2 accessory shoes alright, the one on the left shoulder is a hot shoe but the one aligned with the lens axis is just a cold one, clearly aimed for the VF only.

But then do not hold too much faith in these setup. With an accessory VF on the center shoes there is protrusion ( the VF ) on top of the camera that fitting a typical shoe mount flash is almost impossible even with the 2nd hot shoe ( its too near and the flash and the VF are both in each other's way )

The way I see it, the SW is of little use then. Unlike the screw mount I series vs the III series where Leica cut off the top and made the accessory shoes as close to the lens as possible and thus allow more accurate framing ( less parallax error ) and also priced it much cheaper. The SW do not differ in the VF placement ( the same chassis and top ) and its also not priced likely.. From a user point of view, just get the Zeiss IKon instead

Thank you very much for all your info. Well, beside the two hot shoes, I still wonder why I should get this SW version while I can do the same thing with the original version.

Would any bro please correct me and/or give me some insight?

Thanks a lot.

Another feature of Zeiss Ikon SW is the indicator of exposure metering. It's three LEDs on the back of the body. You can check the exposure easily when you use external viewfinder. (You need to check the exposure in build-in viewfinder if you use ZI body)

The SW body is considerable cheaper than ZI, so it's a good choice if you only shot with wide angle lens.

According to the price in Japan market, ZI SW is about 35% cheaper than ZI.

The hot shoe of right hand side can also put on the external lightmeter for retrofocus lens.

So FR is right. I managed to saw some pictures of the SW with the view finder in the centre, and really not much space or no space for another even small flash. Not much use then.
