Truth be told, at the critical need of a true Tele as the 135 goes. Even a long base RF do not have enough of accuracy to guarantee true focus confirmation. This is but a limitation of the RF system, and of course this is aggrvated by the small 35mm film format ( accutance and resolution need )

I think its a simple technical decision and a wise one to not to go with anything that long. SLR is far much better suited for lens of this focal length and longer ...

Actually, when the Elmarit -M 135/2.8 with eye-glass 1.5x magnifier, even with the 0.72x Leica M body, the focusing accuracy is still superior than the Leica R with the same lens. So it may be marginal if the lens increase to ZM 135/2 Planar. Or need another longer baseline range finders.

不過話時話，RF 機用長焦距鏡。。。。有啲超出原意喎！

情況就好似買架LOTUS。。。。但又想坐7個人一樣~~~~~

In fact, a motor cycle in China rual area can do the job of Toyota LiteAce mini Van, maximum of 5 people can be carry on one motor cycle. If the Chinese motor driver have a lotus, sure he can carry more than 7 people with it.
