After a while studying the construction of this lens, I know how to alignment for the focus and floating elements movements now. I am now test shoot some pictures to see my evaluation method works or not
. The reasons why I need to re-alignment for this Distagon is I bought this lens in second hand market and at a relatively low price (Around a used 2.8 version's price). The seller mention that this lens is not sharp at all after the lens has been brings to service. The glass and body are very new, over 90% but only is not sharp at 1,4-2,8 aperture range. The corners are all burred at 1,4. That why selling it. Based on the fact and user reports that this 35mm/1.4 Carl Zeiss lens should not be that poor performed, therefore, I guess that this must be the Flaoting Elements alignments problem, which I have experienced before with my Nikon 35/1.4 Ais. Therefore I buy it and now attemp to do re-alignments. Hope my move is right LA
If any Big Brothers have any suggestions, feel free to publish . Many Thanks.
